Joyce Atuhaire (Country Director):

Joyce is the current Chairperson having been elected into office in 2019. She has over 10 years of experience in business management, mentorship and coaching. She is a founding member of Development Associates a research and BDS consulting form, director at Agro-Tourism Associates. She previous worked as General Manager at Dynapharm Uganda.

Gloria Esther Arinaitwe (Secretary):

Gloria is an industrial chemists, an entrepreneur and Product Development specialist She is the Managing Director of AEN (U) Ltd, a limited company processing cereal beverage under the brand name “Pitstis Bushera”. She previous worked with National Bureau of Standards. She sits on the dvisory Board of FHI360 and Cardno is a global infrastructure, environmental and social development company operating in more than 100 countries across the globe.

Betty Kaddu Zizinga (Treasurer):

Ms. Kaddu brings on board over 15 years of experience in management and corporate governance. She is currently the proprietor and Managing Director of Best of Waste; a limited company engaged renewable energy specially recycling agricultural waste to make briquettes and manufactory of institution stoves. Ms. Zizinga previously worked with KPMG Uganda and Uganda Revenue Authority among others reputable organisations.

Joy Mary Lwanga (Member):

Ms. Lwanga was re-appointed to the board for the second term. The is a proprietor of Shalom Organic Farm Limited, a limited company involved in production of organic fruits, vegetables and poultry. She is a veteran business administrator and previous worked with multi-national companies such as Toyota Uganda Ltd, Harold H. Webb and Partners, Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau/Mission for All and Uganda Customs and Excise Department. She is also a board member of Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association ltd (UWEAL).

Elizabeth Ssempebwa (Member):

Ms. Ssempebwa is a veteran corporate leader and Entrepreneur with wealth of experience and expertise in strategic business management and corporate governance. She is the MD Kitezi Mixed Farm involved in Aquiculture and Rabbit value chains. She previous worked at Bank
of Uganda for over 20 years.

Peninah Ngategize (Advisor):

Over 20 years of experience having worked with 20 years in the Uganda Revenue Authority, Uganda Cooperative Alliance and other International Organizations including the International Telecommunication Union. She was a Board Member, Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association Limited (UWEAL). She is a member of the Governing Council of Kachwekano Zonal
Agricultural Research and Development Institute, Board Member, Pan African Agribusiness and Agro Industry Consortium (PanAAC), Founder member of Business Professional Women -Uganda (BPW) and Executive Member East African Women in Business Platform (EAWiBP).

Edson Twinamatsiko (Coordinator):

Edson holds an MA (Development Studies), PGD- Project Planning and Management, Certificate in Building Inclusive businesses, Certificate in Sanitary and Phyto-sanitary Management and Control, Building Gender Senstive Value chains, ToT Uganda Standards and Code of Practice for Horticulture, ToT Farming as a Business and Certificate in Post-Harvest Handling and Storage of Grain of Vegetables. He boasts of over 12 years of experience in value chain development, business development and research services. He has consulted for national and international organisations including International Potato Centre, Bioversity International, FAO, IITA, Land O lakes, NAADs, AgriProFocus, and over 3000 enterprises and individual farmers.
